from here on: opens up a kaleidoscopic space from the connections and entanglements of the Graz artist Leo Kreisel-Strausz (1961-2023). His way of thinking and working, which saw itself as a combination of disciplines, people and contexts, realized a lifeworldly understanding of art that gives itself its subjects in the interplay with social realities.
Since 1988, Leo Kreisel-Strausz and the collective Rhizom, which he co-founded, have been active in numerous international collaborations, installations and interventions in public space, in the Styrian art scene and beyond.
